Designing Chatbots and Conversational Agents

The world becomes more conversational and bots will be a game changer in customer interaction. Philipp, the Head of Business Development at Rasa, will present the open source framework Rasa has built and the products Rasa NLU & Rasa Core tools to build conversational agents. He further will showcase fallacies and things to watch out for when designing conversational systems including hands-on examples from Rasa’s previous projects. Designing chatbots is not easy - the interface itself is simple (e.g. text only) and the most natural one. Therefore, user experience is essential to provide a good service and a smooth user interaction.

Philipp Wolf
Since October 2016, Philipp is the Head of Business Development at Rasa and is leading the customer bot implementations projects and key accounts. Together with Rasa’s machine learning engineers and researchers, he is building intelligent assistants and bots to simplify the world’s interfaces. Previously, Philipp was a consultant at Rainmaking Innovation, had various roles within the startups scene like Rocket Internet and Axel Springer Plug and Play. He was also the co-founder of culicoo, an online marketplace for temporary work in the food tech industry. Philipp holds a M.Sc. in Business and Economics at the Copenhagen Business School.
