The World Usability Day (WUD) was founded by the User Experience Professionals’ Association (UXPA) in the year 2005. It is an annual event that promotes Usability and User Experience around the world. Each year in november the World Usability Day attracts thousands of vistors all over the world. In 2011 the WUD hosted more than 40,000 visitors at 140 events in 44 countries.

The World Usability Day in Berlin had several topics over the past years: Digitales Bezahlen & Service - Design (2012), Social Networks (2011), Mobile Communication (2010). In 2013 the WUD Berlin had over 600 visitors that were intrerested in „Designing for Health“.
